Hillsburgh Minor Softball Association consists of players within The Town of Erin and neighboring municipalities.
We are a travelling house league comprised of teams playing within the Intercounty Softball Association, with the exception of the “Learn to Play” division which plays solely out of Hillsburgh.
Our Executive is made up of local volunteers from all walks of life with one common love… the game of softball and teaching it to kids!
The schedule and the year-end tournament dates will vary for each division depending on the convener and the various municipalities hosting them. Our league does involve some travel and may include going to any of the following centers: Alma, Arthur, Chepstow, Durham, Drayton/Moorefield, Grand Valley, Listowel, Mildmay, Minto/Palmerston, Mount Forest, Ponsonby, Puslinch, Rockwood and/or Walkerton. This all depends on the number of teams registered in each of the divisions within the league.
The majority of our home games will be played at Barbour Field located at 5808 8th line just north of County Rd 22, Erin Township, with some games or practices being held at Victoria Park on Mill St in Hillsburgh. The Victoria Park Field is also where our batting cage is located which is accessible to all of the teams in our league.
Each player will be responsible for providing their own glove, helmet with cage and grey pants. HMSA will provide a jersey, hat and socks to each player with the availability of many more team and league items in our online store.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact one of our executive members.
See you on the field.
